Why MPS cares about our youth?

The article titled “Provide Opportunities for Children and Youth”, reported that “children are growing up amid poverty, violence, illness and seeing their families, friends, and communities suffering from the effects of alcoholism, unemployment, incarceration, AIDS, or a lack of educational opportunities. Many children, however, are resilient and manage to succeed despite a negative environment. Although not all children are faced with adverse circumstances, our Nation's well-being requires that every child in every community be guaranteed the opportunity to reach his or her full potential”. This is why it is very important to provide resources and an environment worthy of growth within our communities. Here at MPS we strive to reduce crime, high school dropout rate, drug and alcohol abuse, and domestic violence amongst the many other community concerns. MPS strives to implement a Youth & Art Development Program catered to the unique needs of our youth, their families and friends. There are going to be challenges, but MPS is here to strengthen individuals within their communities.
