The public support of the arts continues to play a vital role in sustaining the rich past and vibrant future of Arizona through flexible and reliable funding for annual arts programming. By implementing an Art-Based Education Intervention Program and Mentorship; MPS demonstrates excellent artistic, educational and cultural value, responsiveness to the community, credible planning and evaluation strategies, and a high level of financial and managerial accountability. When these characteristics are in balance, MPS are well positioned to provide Phoenicians with diverse opportunities to participate in the arts and enjoy their benefits throughout their lives. Therefore, the more artist participate in an Art-Based Education Intervention Program and Mentorship; the less likely they will exhibit delinquent behavior within their communities.
